From October 8 – 14 2018, Xfinity X1 customers and music fans of every genre had the chance to enjoy a free week of streaming Pandora Premium on X1 right on the TV with their voice remote.


A Whole New Brand

The goal of this campaign was to introduce customers to the music experience on X1. At first this was viewed as a small promotion, but our experience team wanted to give music a voice, and a brand that they could own on the platform. The result was a vibrant color palette and a nod towards the recognizable “play” icon. 


Music for every mood

We wanted our music experience to be something that any customer could dive into and enjoy actively, or passively.

Customers could check out the “Moods” section and find curated selections to match their feelings—from romantic to heartbroken to soulful, and everything in between—or the perfect playlist to help them work out or unwind.


The results are in…

The Experience Music on X1 campaign delivered a very strong finale weekend, peaking on Saturday with more than 270,000 hours of streaming music from about 240,000 households.

We also saw a massive 169% increase in streaming app launches and an 18% increase in total hours spent within those apps.
